The Three Best Practises to Adopt In My Blogging Strategy

Turn your PDF E-books and special reports into viral marketing machines!

After watching the very informative video put on by Hubspot IM University I am offering the following as some of the takeaways that I intend to use in my blogging strategy:

1. Use my own domain for greater flexibilty and  control.

2.Blog at least weekly but preferably more frequently since that is far better.

3.Make the focus of the blog on the interests and demographics of the readers rather than on a particular product or service.

Next year in 2013, about 17% of the US population will be blogging. Over 128 million will be reading at least one blog on a regular basis by then.

That which we persist in doing becomes easier, not that the nature of the task has changed, but our ability to do has increased.    Ralph Waldo Emerson

I have this quote on my facebook page. It should give you some solace in that the more you blog the better you will become.  Everyone has to start somewhere.

I've procrastinated several years in getting started; don't let this happen to you. Get involved and just do it.

In closing I would definitely recommend the course put on for free by Hubspot for those just starting out blogging. It covers everything from blogging to social media to lead management and everything in between.

Watch the video below or go to Hubspot.
